Who knew hiccups could be so deadly… That’s the main message I learned from this episode. Not only that, but George has to deal with an eccentric, yet demanding woman who refuses to leave. As the chief enforces the 80 hours a week policy, Christina and Meredith realise they have some free time… But, they spend it very differently. Addison and George are pushed to their moral limits as they treat a teenager and finally, Izzie meets Denny… This episode was written by Kip Koenig and was broadcast on January 15th 2006 by ABC, ending the winter hiatus.

Grey’s Anatomy: S2 E12: Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer

Faith runs as a theme throughout this episode. Alex ends up questioning his as he faces many challenges and Burke and Christina argue over their different religions. The Christmas episode of this season serves itself as a fun ‘episode off’ from the stress and hardship felt in normal episodes. This episode was written by Krista Vernoff and was broadcast on December 11th 2005 by ABC before going on it’s winter hiatus.

Saw Review

Saw is the beginning of an extremely successful franchise, that is trashed by critics. While audiences love the gore fest, critics aren’t as happy with it. Personally, the Saw franchise is one of my favourites in all of horror. From a budget of $700,000, it managed to gross over $100 million in its initial run. With some electrifying performances, and some excellent plot twists, Saw is definitely a highlight of the series. Written by James Wan and Leigh Whannell, this movie was originally released in the USA on October 29th 2004, belonging to Lionsgate Studios. Continue reading
